Our activities & focus
As for now, we have been mostly active in Africa, particularly Nigeria - building a network with key people there and maintaining constant contact. We are also in the process of planning a conference bringing together important leaders from Nigerian states, estimated to take place around September. We want to build this same kind of network in other countries.
Who do we target & WHY
We focus on companies and businesses that either implement human rights standards or have a direct interest in doing so. A good example would be businesses exporting to or operating in Africa, as they already have a stake in human rights conditions on the ground. These are the ones most likely to be open to a deeper, ongoing collaboration. By connecting with people who have real influence and demand in this space, we can grow the organisation in a way that reaches those who actually need it most.
Members' participation
We want to collect information about local concerns in terms of human rights. Based on these and our knowledge, we would like to organise meetings, discussions, workshops, and actions, either locally or globally. We believe these activities will improve how human right is implemented, around the world. We need your individual voices, to establish our focus, and work along these concerns' lines.
